PRIEST HOUSE

One of my most ambitious projects- this was a vast ruin right in the middle of the old town of Pollenca, the old Bishop`s Palace!  I had to bring together 3 seperate buildings all giving out onto a large, romantic patio and make them work as a whole, providing my client with a home for his huge family.  I managed to create 8 bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms and very extensive areas for relaxing both inside in the winter and outside in the summer and even a roof terrace with its own kitchen and bar.  Because the patio was enclosed with high walls we decided to incorporate this feeling of a Moroccan Riad using Moorish decorative elements throughout the house. It was a huge feat to pull off, especially having to get diggers and trucks into the narrow back streets of the town.  But I think the photos speak for themselves-  the place is a dream!
